So I didn’t have any of the other issues you are experiencing but I did start dilating with my first at 34 weeks. I was 1cm and progressed a cm every week until 39 week when I had a membrane sweep which I believe helped put me into labor.Doesn't really mean anything. I was 3 cm dilated 50% effaced at 37 weeks with my first and didn't have her until 40+4. With my second I wasn't dilated at all at 40 weeks and she came 2 days later. Effacement is how thin your cervix is and dilation is how open it is. 40% effaced means that your cervix is 40% thinner than it is during pregnancy ....
