While waiting I tried modifying a yamaha 5C with a baffle, tried a Runyon quantum 9, and a HR berg 110/1. The RPC beats them all. I'm guessing you're referring to his sound on alto. He uses a Couf 4 with 2.5 Rico reeds. This has been his setup for 20+ years. He reveals this info on his DVD - Sound Production for Saxophone. If I had his sound on alto, I wouldn't change it either.
