You're only adding irritation by putting it on a fresh piercing.There was a time when the standard was 14g, but it's been a great many years since I've seen anyone (that wasn't a hack) recommend 14g for initial nipple piercings. Yes and yes, hoops should never be put in new nasal piercings and the septum jewelry is either wayyy too big or it's been pierced too low. Unfortunately sometimes it's just a learning process with those things, I've been to piercers that have amazing reviews and by all accounts should do a good job but still gave me poor piercings.
