Med student starting Heme/onc in patient service soon. Anything specific I can read for handeling chemotherapy toxicity, etc? Anything specific to include in presentations that differes from general IM? Which makes it funny to me that HO and ID are often at odds in the hospital (ie BMT wants to use some weird restricted antibiotic and ID won't let them). As far as vacation time, I can tell you my oncologist took 1 week vacations twice during the time I was getting chemo.
