A couple of days ago at 550 rounds fired, I experienced my first failure of the slide to lock back on my P365 after the last round of Federal American Eagle brass 124gr. FMJ was fired from one of my 10 round mags. (without the pinky extension.) What hasn't gone away is issues …The most affordable quality red dot you can get for the P365 is the Swampfox Sentinel and the best you can get is the Holosun 507k. You can even get the slide milled for a Trijicon RMRcc and spend $500 on one of those. It's technically the most durable/reputable red dot but I think it's unnecessary for a carry gun.I converted the XL to a macro and the P365 to a P365X. I believe I'm going to leave the 380 as is, you can feel the weight difference.
