Finally replaced stabilizer bar cushions (about $10 each) part # 478 268 4AB and that was the culprit. Hope this help prevent other wasting a bunch of money for a simple fix.I should have the report next week. This is the first one- front end noise- it sounds like an intermittent grunt and is felt in the driver's floorboard and gas/ brake pedals. The first time was in 4 lo at idle in sand, high angle left turn up or downhill slope.If they're over torqued, they're not moving as freely as they should and I think the clunk I'm hearing is them binding up a bit. If you're hearing it while turning right, one of yours may be over torqued also.
