curveball1012 Discussion starter. 28 posts · Joined 2015. #1 · Aug 3, 2023. Hi All, I may have asked this question earlier. My 2011 200 (2.4 L) randomly goes into limp mode. I hook up my OBDII scanner and it doesn't pop any codes. I'm afraid it's something in the wiring.. Muroz jessica

I've got a 4.7K fitted in place of the EGR (Even though my EGR is not faulty) the car runs much better and cleaner without the egr recirculating all the rubbish. In order to use the code scanner to diagnose limp mode you’re going to need to: Make sure that you are somewhere safe. Make sure that the engine has been off for at least 5-10 minutes.
