Personally I think Kotor 2 would have benefitted greatly from being a direct sequel to Kotor 1 hinging off of a particular ending (darkside ending with Revan and Bastila as the main villains imo), some people have opposed that saying it would defeat the purpose of having choice in Kotor 1 and invalidate anything but the 'canon set of choices ....
