There you can see, what exactly they need. #1. Villagers will not fill buckets/skins from rivers/lakes, so if you don't have the well you will have to do it yourself. I keep getting inhabitants, assign them to tasks, and they end up leaving because it says I have no wood available. I assign one to chop wood each time and the mood drops to 0 in a day and they leave over and over. I even tried stocking one of my 10 buildings with logs and sticks just to see what would happen, they are not satisfied.villagers say no water so got a well and a water girl fills the bucket and waterskin. but they still show no water for them to drink. They're assigned to work (one to gathering on hunting house, second to lumber wood). ...They are easy to craft and fill so water shouldn't take more then 30 seconds of effort.
