The regen button doesnt do anything unless the computer is requesting a parked regen. The button is there to allow you time to park the truck in safe spot before you run it. Newer trucks generally dont have it. But you won't be able to force it to regen without a scan tool unless the truck is requesting it. That usually isn't necessary though.. Lt1 vs 2ss
