You can run them in a fireteam but exotics only drop on solo clears. You can get exotics, but they will not be that days slot specific nor does it have bad luck protection. To get slot specific and get guaranteed new items you have to run solo. In my experience, legendary LS are terrible for drops. Master is way more rewarding. I did Veles Labyrinth Master as shadebinder with bleak watcher. Averaged 3 minute runs and got about 10 exotics for 24 runs. And to add to this, lost sectors on the moon are terrible to grind along with most in tangled shore.
