Sep 26, 2016 · 2009 FX35 - intermittent stalling issue finally fixed. I am posting the following in the case that someone may go through a similar problem and need some help diagnosing the problem. This is a copy of the review that I placed on Consumer Affairs today. 2009 INFINITI FX35. presto604 Member. My 2010 FX35 the engine can't start with first try from time to time. It's been happening over 6 months and it happens about once or twice a week. Sometimes it takes 2, 3 times tries to start the engine. It feels like the rpm is low, and the engine failed to start. I have replaced the battery at first but the problem persists.rijc99 Member. Ok. Found a way to duplicate the low rpm issue. Slowly accelerate to 40. Get off the gas all the way and let the car decelerate to 30-35 by itself. Step on the gas and try to maintain speed. Now slowly accelerate to 40+.
