Anyway, my Colorado fried the resistor pack connector, harness connector, and eventually (running my fan on '4'/max for 2+ years) the switch itself failed! Something is causing excessive resistance in the circuit. Maybe the ground point or the resistor module. Could have been some fretting corrosion in that connector. In the first picture, with the terminal numbers on the connector, #5 is the ground going from the HVAC Control Module to the ground point on the fender wall.Ground Splice Pack Broken.
