Patience is a waste of time.The only effect to the stock or for that matter the shoulder is recoil which is a product of payload and acceleration. Pressure is the force against the unopened balloon that is a shot shell. A high pressure 3/4 oz. load will have less recoil than a low pressure 1 1/2 load. Shock to an old dried out gun stock is from recoil.

It took me over an our to get all of the plastic fouling out of the barrel. I went to the CB4100 from the CB1100-12 which gave me zero fouling but dished crimps..
