I see the DCT as a non hydraulic automatic, the Rincons have torque converter, the Rubicon Honamatics are hydraulic pumps in reverse. DCT is actually not a new idea, first invented in the 1940's, developed in the 80's for racing, the first to hit the road were 2003 Volkswagens.The Rubicon initially came with a 475cc motor, but Honda subtly released a new, bigger engine for 2020.
