Torque the fill plug to 27 ft-lb. Front diff. Remove rear skid by removing 6 retaining bolts -- two up front, two to access the engine oil drain, and two at the rear. Pull skid towards the rear or front (I can't remember) of the vehicle to remove. A GL-5 rated fluid is harsh on the brass synchros. As for the differentials, any quality 75W-90 will do. ALWAYS take the fill plug off before the drain plug otherwise if that fill plug gets stuck you have no way of adding fluid. Also it'd be wise to do the rear diff at the same time.
