Shift to Park problem. With increasing frequency I park the car as usual and then it says "Shift to Park" even though the car is in park. To make it go away I need to start it back up and shift back to drive and park. Car is out of bumper to bumper and I'm guessing this wouldn't be classified as a powertrain issue. Video below. . To follow up, got my 2019 LT done today (finally). My copy of the Service Order referenced TB 19-NA-206 (no surprise there) and that they replaced the shifter park switch and jumper harness. Work was done under warranty, no charge (it was the cabin air filter that cost me $100, ugh). Harness Part No: 84733196.A recall has been made for chevy Malibu 2016-2020 but my VIN was not included. Yea the rear knuckles cause that noise really annoying. Something to do with a sealed bushing that drys out. I believe GM came out with an "updated" knuckle. If you can do it yourself it won't cost to much.
